Founder of EliseAI
Minna Song, founder of EliseAI, the AI-powered real estate platform that reached unicorn status in 2024.
Minna holds a BS in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After working as an administrative assistant at a real estate firm, she noticed how inefficient rental communication could be—slow responses, missed calls, and endless back-and-forth emails.
In 2017, Song founded EliseAI, which acts as a virtual assistant for property managers, handling leasing, maintenance, and tenant communication.
► Instant responses – It provides instant, human-like responses across email, SMS, phone calls, and chat, ensuring renters get timely and accurate information.
► Smarter automation – The AI takes care of repetitive tasks like answering FAQs, processing applications, and scheduling appointments.
► Customizable interactions – Businesses can tailor EliseAI’s responses to match their brand’s tone and communication style.
By taking over these routine conversations, EliseAI frees up property managers to focus on more complex tasks—leading to faster service and a smoother experience for renters. Today, EliseAI is used by 70% of the top 50 rental housing operators in the US.
In 2024, EliseAI secured a Series D funding of $75M, with the company now valued at more than $1B.
I love how Minna saw beyond the frustration in real estate communication and turned it into an opportunity to drive real change for renters and property managers. 😎
