At Intel, Liu worked on addressing online hate speech and a new AI technique called 'few-shot natural language generation' that can generate text even when limited data is available.

In 2019, she co-founded an AI startup called XOKind. The startupโ€™s first product, Una Travel, was featured as a top travel app by The New York Times Apple, CNBC, and USA Today.
