Fidji Simo, CEO and Chair of Instacart, the online grocery delivery service valued at almost $10 billion in 2023.

Holding an MS in Management from HEC Paris, Simo became the first person in her family of fishermen to graduate high school and attend university.

► In 2008, she began her career at eBay, transitioning from an intern to Strategy Manager.
► In 2011, she joined Facebook, where she led the launch of ads, Facebook Live, and managed a team of 6000 as Head of the Facebook app.
► In 2021, Simo became CEO of Instacart, leading the company through its successful IPO in 2023.

Simo expanded Instacart beyond grocery by introducing Instacart Health in 2022, promoting healthier lifestyles and nutritious food choices. She also helped over 100 grocery chains build Instacart-powered websites, benefiting both retailers and customers.

Under her leadership, Instacart’s yearly revenue grew from $1.8 billion to $3 billion in 2023.

Simo serves as a board member at OpenAI and Shopify, and is co-founder of Women In Product, a community working to encourage gender diversity in tech.
