Poppy Gustafsson
Poppy Gustafsson, CEO of Darktrace, a British cybersecurity company listed on the London Stock Exchange with a global clientele of 7,400 institutions.
Gustafsson was 30 years old when she co-founded Darktrace in 2013 with a team of mathematicians, AI experts, and former spies from the UK and the US.
Since then, Poppy has been awarded:
- CEO of the Year at the 2021 Digital Masters Awards and Tech CEO of the Year at the UK Tech Awards 2021
- an OBE for services to cybersecurity in 2019
- an honorary Doctor of Science degree in Cyber Security in 2022 from the University of Sheffield

Darktrace's AI-powered cybersecurity solutions offer businesses an "enterprise immune system" that learns and defends against advanced cyber threats. Today, it serves diverse clients like Rolls Royce, the city of Las Vegas, the UK's National Health Service (NHS), and Coca-Cola.
